Workshops vary depending on the participants and the event

Usually run as a structured workshop where the children are shown each skill in turn and then have time to learn that skill.

Skills most often include juggling, plate spinning, diabolo, hula hoops, flower sticks, pedal racers and stilts. Other skills can include unicycle, feather balance, and low tightwire

Type of venue and space required depends on number of participants, skills taught and ages of the children

Nearly always run as a drop in workshop where participants can come and go as they please.

Skills can include juggling, plate spinning, diabolo, hula hoops, flower sticks, pedal racers, unicycles and stilts. Other skills may include low tightwire, cigar boxes and hats

Typs of venue and space required is often standardised but will also depend on the venue size and expected number of particpants

Run as a structured workshop where the participants are shown each skill in turn and then have time to learn that skill.

Usually organised where all participants are divided into smaller groups and participants in groups work toward end event challenge

End event challenges are group versus group and skill specific. Achievement based challenges for both group members and groups as a whole and inter group races or challenges can be part of the workshop

Workshops can take place indoors as long as the venue is large enough in area but also has a high enough ceiling clearance

Any indoor space needs to be well lit and preferably be wooden floored or similar with no obstructions in the workshop space

Some skills are limited in an indoor venue because of ceiling height or space available

Workshops can take place outdoors in reasonable weather. Rain and wind will significantly affect the activity of the workshop

Any outdoor space needs to be on a flat and preferablly grass area which is dry

Any outdoor area should be barriered off to demarcate the workshop area. Poles and bunting can be supplied by most tutors

Some skills are limited in outdoor venues because of surface suitability and space restrictions

  • “I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks to your team for their help with our event on Saturday. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time. I didn't actually get a chance to catch up with them on the day, but I know one of my colleagues got some top tips for juggling that he was very pleased with!

    Thanks again for your help.”
